Nuria Net
Nuria Net is the Deputy Editor of Univision News, Univision’s online English language platform. A writer, editor, online entrepreneur and music lover, for the past decade she has dedicated herself to promoting Latin culture in the US through the web, radio, print and events production.
She has worked as an Assistant Editor at Latina Magazine, a Writer/Producer at MTV Radio, and as a freelancer for publications such as Billboard, The NY Daily News, and AOL.
In 2006, she co-founded Remezcla.com, an online guide to local Latino culture in 5 cities in the US, and a pioneering English-language medium that covers trendy Latino art, film, music, and lifestyle. As Editor-in-Chief, Nuria managed all editorial content as well as curated and produced events. For her innovative work at Remezcla, Nuria was named one of ‘30 Under 30 People in Music and Entertainment’ by Billboard Magazine.
Nuria received a Masters of Arts degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2011.
