What started as one of the many online pranks the satirical site The Onion has been known to pull, is now receiving a huge backlash from those who fear many lines have been crossed. The stunt involved claims that gunshots “were heard inside the Capitol Building” and that “12 children” had been “held hostage by group of armed congressmen.”
