The world hasn’t been the same since Justin Bieber’s Believe album was released today. It really hasn’t. The 18-year-old wunderkind moves a finger and already has his fans in hysteria, so imagine a perfectly orchestrated release of a new album and perfume on the same day.
Believe is a mix of dance tracks, ballads, R&B songs, and the singer’s familiar bubble gum pop. The teen pop star enlisted Ludacris, Big Sean and Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj as featured artists. Beliebe it or not (yes, pun intended), the fresh-out-the-oven album is already number one in more than 20 countries. Who could deny the kid’s power now?
Twitter has long been a forum for Beliebers to express their lifelong devotion to their Canadian idol. Still, Lady Gaga remains #1 in the Twitter followers race (25 million vs Bieber’s 23.5 million and counting.) For those who aren’t Bieber fans, the barrage of tweets can seem borderline-nutty. But who’s judging? There’s also room for haters as well.
