Univision’s veteran news anchor Jorge Ramos, who has been covering the immigrant Latino community for over 25 years, went on Diane Sawyer’s World News on our partner network ABC to react to the Supreme Court’s Monday ruling over Arizona’s SB 1070.
“The Hispanic community didn’t like the ‘show me your papers provision’ and this will only create more persecution and discrimination in Arizona and other states,” said Ramos from Univision’s Miami studios.
