We’ve been covering the Venezuelan elections closely. Throughout the day we’ve received videos from Venezuelans voting around the world, and one thing is certain: They celebrated and enjoyed the process all around.
Silvia Salgado from Primer Impacto sent us these videos from New Orleans. She embarked in a bus packed with Venezuelans eager to vote that went from Miami to New Orleans, a total of 16 hours.

In the bus there was a lot of singing and chanting.
This morning some had voted already, and their happiness showed in their faces and proud purple fingers.
After voting, it was time to go home. The bus was nowhere to be found so voters decided to dance the wait away.
In Mexico the spirit was similar to the one in New Orleans. From Mexico D.F. Diana Oliva Cave sent us this video in which Venezuelans march to their consulate dancing, clapping and playing drums.
