Gurl, I luv it when m3diA outlets and kompanies speak my lengua. Becuz, truth B told, I’m tired of being talked down 2, patronized, stereotyped, misunderstood and misrepresented by the narrow, myopic, inadequate, and often farcical portrayals of Latin women in both Spanish and English-language media, so it’s nice to have the opportunity to show audiences the person beyond the sexed-up, “impassioned” Latina stereotype and the often detrimental fetishization of Latinas.
