The Annual Coachella Lineup Announcement Whinefest

It’s that time of the year again. Expectations have been building for months. Lineup is announced. Expectations are inevitably shattered.
No Rolling Stones, but other beloved UK bands reuniting. Rest of lineup looks pretty much the same as when I was there in 2010. Except much blander (should I just automatically be excited for those Phoenix and Vampire Weekend albums which will NOT come out until April or May, just because I was into those bands in 2009?)
We’ve got Cafe Tacvba and Rodriguez (yay!). 3ball MTY bebes, reprezent.
Personally, would’ve liked to see an Alex Anwandter or a Venus X on the bill.
We need new bands and festivals worthy of being excited about. We’re all pathetic.
