Magician hypnotizes 75 Colombian schoolchildren

The southwestern Colombian town of Mocoa is in shock after seventy-five local schoolchildren were hospitalized after being hypnotized by a magician. According to police, the children were rushed to the hospital and placed in urgent care as doctors tried to figure out what was going on.
“I don’t know, they were touching their chests and they started to roll around shouting strange things,” recalls one witness. “They all began fainting, crying and one girl was screaming things, nasty things. She said that she saw the devil.”
The magician responsible for this bizarre situation has been arrested along with two of his assistants. The students were placed in a collective trance-like state after attending a street circus where the magician was performing.
The children are beginning to come out of their hypnotic states, but at least 30 of them remain hospitalized at the request of their parents who have asked the police to allow the magician to visit the children in the hospital in order to free them from his spell himself.
